An experiment with zoom-during-exposure on an unnamed waterfall in Mount Rainier National Park, Washington
Before it becomes sand, it's a rock.
A lupine in my backyard.  I sprayed it with the "mist" setting on my hose, and thought the little beads were cool.
I was bored on a winter weekend day a few years back and got inspired by the drip tray in my espresso machine.  Turns out the spacing of the holes was just right for holding some clear glass marbles.  This shot has a flower underneath the tray, lit from the side by a few flashlights.  It's kind of like looking through a compound eye!
Looking up at the dome of Palomar Observatory, here tipped 90 degrees from reality.  I think this looks rather like a sail.
