Arches on the rooftop at Beckman Auditorium, Caltech.  This is a peculiar building, a significant departure from the Mission Revival style of the older buildings on campus.  For a while in the 60s and 70s, architects on college campuses everywhere decided they needed to be "different", and we wound up with buildings that leave us wondering, "should that be here?"  Still, I'm a sucker for interesting geometric patterns.
