Mount Rainier and alpine avens (I think)
Yankee Boy Basin, Colorado. Magenta Paintbrush, Yellow Paintbrush, and Asters are the dominant flowers on this hillside. It's a pretty long walk to get here if you don't have a high clearance 4WD. I rented a Jeep!
Golden Banner and a view of the Never Summer Range, shot along the west side of Trail Ridge Road, in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado, summer 2007. The evergreen trees there don't look so good now (lots of beetle kill).

A cloudy July afternoon at Clear Lake, near Silverton
Glacier lillies near Cameron Pass in mid-June. This beautiful flower starts growing up through the snow and is usually ready to bloom within days of the snow melting around it (hence, the name).

Along Hwy 1, Big Sur, California.
Nokhu Crags, as seen from Iron Mountain
Old railbed and bluebonnets in Texas, April 2010. There are a lot of spots along this railbed where you can get some really fun compositions.
A paintbrush in the spring
Golden Banner and morning dew in Poudre Canyon, Colorado. Can you see the tiny bugs? I didn't see them while I was shooting, only spotted them on the monitor when I took the images off the camera.
